Ramadan Kitchen Provides Cooked Food to Over 250 Poor Families

ISLAMABAD: Muslim Hands Pakistan’s Ramadan Open Kitchen is completely operational, providing hygienic cooked food to over 250 deserving and poor families on a daily basis in the vicinity of the federal capital, Islamabad.

In the middle and poor population of the city, Muslim Hands Open Kitchen continues to provide nutritional cooked meals to the neediest communities, playing its part in fighting hunger and enhancing food security among communities.

We engaged in helping people with care, said Muslim Hands country director Syed Zia ul Noor, adding that we are distributing cooked meals daily at the doorsteps of over 250 poor and needy families through Muslim Hand Ramadan Open Kitchen while donors from the United States, Canada, Australia, UK, Europe, and other countries are fully cooperating to help the poor and deserving families for Ramadan open kitchens and ration packages.

Zia Ul Noor said that Muslim Hands also started Ramadan Open Kitchen in other cities of the country during Ramadan to support needy persons for good causes.

During Ramadan, Muslim Hands plans to distribute 10,000 cooked meals to the most vulnerable communities across Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi. This initiative underscores our unwavering commitment to achieving Zero Hunger and promoting Better Nutrition and Health for all.

Zia ul Noor emphasized that several other welfare organizations, individuals, and businessmen are also stepping forward to assist citizens and the government through various initiatives, in the hope of enduring these challenging times.

“Muslim Hands will persist in providing food support to these families, ensuring they have a reliable supply of meals amidst a lack of employment opportunities,” Zia ul Noor stated. He added, “Needy families are enduring their toughest times, concerned about sustaining themselves during the upcoming 20 days of Ramadan. However, we are dedicated to supporting them out of our humanitarian duty.”
