ISLAMABAD: Some dishes take us back to our childhood memories. This gram-flour naan
recipe is one of those. Give this recipe a try and reminisce about the flavours of the past.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Gram flour
- 1 large onion
- 2 Potatoes
- 1 cup Spinach
- 1/2 cup Coriander
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 tbsp. Crushed Coriander
- 1 tsp Red chilli flakes
- 2-3 Green chillies
- Water as required
- 1 tbsp. dried pomegranate
- 6-7 Naan
Pakora Batter Directions:
- In a bowl, combine gram flour, onion, potatoes, spinach, coriander, salt, red chilli powder, dried pomegranate, green chillies, and red chilli flakes. Mix well.
- Gradually add water to form a thick batter.
- Take one Naan and spread the Pakora mixture evenly over it.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, then reduce to medium-low. Place the Naan with the batter side up and cook for 2 minutes.
- Flip the Naan and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the potatoes are fully tender.
- Serve with raita and salad for a delightful meal.
