ECP Outlines Polling Stations and Booths Plan for Hazara Division

ABBOTTABAD: The Regional Election Commission Office (REO) revealed its proposal for the upcoming general elections on February 8, outlining plans for the establishment of 2,860 polling stations and 8,314 polling booths across eight districts in the Hazara division. The plan caters to a total of 343,456 male and female voters.

Breaking down the proposed polling stations and booths in different districts:

Kohistan Upper: Voters: 75,660, , 74 common polling stations.

Male Polling Booths: 91. Female Polling Booths: 81

Kohistan Lower: Voters: 76,984, 67 common polling stations.

Male Polling Booths: 87. Female Polling Booths: 78.

Kolai Palis District: Voters: 43,481, 59 common polling stations.

Male Polling Booths: 70. Female Polling Booths: 66.

Battagram District: Voters: 328,902, 352 polling stations.

Male Polling Booths: 383. Female Polling Booths: 268.

Common Polling Stations: 157.

Mansehra District: Voters: 1,106,237, 470 polling stations.

Male Polling Booths: 1,453, Female Polling Booths: 1,239.

Common Polling Stations: 395.

Torghar District: Voters: 121,656, 123 common polling stations.

Male Polling Booths: 172. Female Polling Booths: 152.

Abbottabad District: Voters: 952,621, 125 polling stations for each gender.

Male Polling Booths: 1,262,  Female Polling Booths: 1,016.

Common Polling Stations: 538.

Haripur District: Voters: 724,915, 143 polling stations for each gender.

Male Polling Booths: 1,007. Female Polling Booths: 899.

Common Polling Stations: 318.

The comprehensive plan is designed to accommodate the diverse voter population in each district, ensuring an organized and efficient electoral process for the Hazara division.
