MULTAN: Multan Arts Council has awarded living legend and renowned singer the Lifetime Achievement Award for her services to the music industry.
The award was presented to her in a ceremony held in connection with Melody Queen Noor Jehan’s 23rd death anniversary at Multan Arts Council.
The iconic classical singer received a standing ovation from the audience when she received the award.
The singer expressed gratitude to Punjab Arts Council Multan for the award.
On the occasion she sang her hit song ‘Bare BeMurawat Hain Yeh Husn Walay’ with her daughter Rahat Bano Multanikr which enthralled the audience.
It is pertinent to mention that she is mostly known as a playback singer who also gained recognition in folk and classical singing.
