RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s security forces on Monday killed four terrorists, including two terrorist ringleaders, during an intelligence-based operation in the Khyber district of northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, on the reported presence of terrorists, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated in a press release.
According to ISPR, on 29 April 2024, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Khyber district, on the reported presence of terrorists.
During the conduct of the operation, an intense fire exchange took place between the security forces and terrorists, as a result of which four terrorists were sent to hell including Terrorist Ringleader Qari Wajid @Qari Baryal and Terrorist Ringleader Razziq, ISPR stated.
ISPR stated that terrorists’ hideout was also busted during the operation and a large cache of weapons, ammunition and explosives was recovered.
Locals of the area appreciated the security forces’ operation. Sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area as security forces are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
