ISLAMABAD: The 95th Academy Awards were held Sunday night at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, and RRR’s “Naatu Naatu” won the Academy Award for best original song, making it the first time an Indian film production had won the award.

Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava made their Oscars debut earlier this year, performing “Naatu Naatu,” with lyrics by Chandrabose and music by M.M. Keervaani. Accepting the award, Keeravani stated, “I grew up listening to The Carpenters, and now here I am with the Oscars,”

‘’Naatu Naatu’’ was featured in Telegu language

India’s ‘”Naatu Naatu” was featured in the Telegu-language film “RRR,” which is India’s fourth-highest grossing film, earning nearly $155 million worldwide, according to IMDb. Last June, it became Netflix’s most-watched non-English film.

Rihanna brings bold maternity style to the Oscars

Rihanna arrived on the Oscars’ champagne-colored carpet in a sheer, form-fitting gown, her baby bump proudly on display, her first high-profile appearance to the public since last month’s Super Bowl. The singer, who was nominated for best original song at the awards, wore a leather bra and maxi skirt with cutouts by designer label Alaa, which she layered over a mesh turtleneck.

She finished the eye-catching look with bright red lips and nails. The actress has helped to redefine maternity fashion by wearing crop tops and lacy sheer sets throughout her first pregnancy. The singer changed into another belly-baring ensemble before performing her Oscar-nominated song “Lift Me Up” from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” at Sunday’s ceremony.

Best original screenplay goes to “Everything Everywhere All at Once”

For “Everything, Everywhere, All at Once,” Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert won the Academy Award for best original screenplay. While Scheinert thanked his teachers, Kwan thanked his mother for his and his nominee’s safety. Rihanna has performed on 2 of the biggest stages of the year, but no new album has been released.

Rihanna has given us a Super Bowl halftime show, a surprise pregnancy, and an Academy Awards performance so far this year. Still, no new album. Rihanna, who was clearly pregnant, received a standing ovation.
