Social media Posts: Erasmus was suspended for two games by World Rugby.
He is ruled out of this weekend’s test against Italy and next week’s match against England following the decision. He had made comments on social media after South Africa’s defeat by Ireland. Earlier he said allegations that his comments had led to threats against the English referee were completely groundless.
World Rugby took a different view after reviewing Erasmus’s social media posts and suspended him for two matches. It may be recalled that World Rugby condemns any public criticism of match officials.
