Rupee Gains 62 Paisa against US Dollar

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan rupee appreciated by 62 paisa against the dollar in the interbank trading on Wednesday and closed at Rs 261.89, against the previous day’s closing of Rs 262.51.

The Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP) stated that the open market, buying, and selling rates of dollars were recorded at Rs267.3 and Rs270 respectively.

The price of Euro saw a decline of Rs1.05 and closed at Rs279.05 against the last trading day’s closing of Rs280.10.

 

Rupee value decreases against British Pound

 

Japan’s Yen lost 1 paisa to close at Rs1.94, while a rise of Rs 1.53 was seen in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which was traded at Rs316.97 as compared to its last trading day’s closing of Rs315.44.

The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal saw a decrease of 17 paisas each to close at Rs71.30 and Rs69.81 respectively.
