CHICHAWATNI: Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Sahiwal on Tuesday announced the results of 9th class examinations.
The results were announced by Commissioner Sahiwal and the Chairperson of the Board, Shoaib Iqbal Syed.
According to the BISE spokesperson, a total of 91,261 candidates participated in the examination. Among them, 41,235 candidates achieved success, resulting in a pass percentage of 45.18%.
Out of the total candidates, 74,727 were regular students, and among them, 35,470 students passed, reflecting a success rate of 47.47%.
Additionally, 5,765 out of 16,534 private candidates attained success, with a pass percentage of 34.87%.
Furthermore, as many as 72 special students appeared for the exam, out of which 70 were declared successful.
The event was attended by various dignitaries including Additional Commissioner Coordination, Shafiq Ahmed Dogar, Controller of Examinations Rana Naveed Azmat, and BISE Secretary Dr. Rabia Akhtar. —APP
