Saudi Ambassador Meets Pakistan’s Minister for Power, Discuss Bilateral Ties

ISLAMABAD: Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed A. Al-Malkiy called on Pakistan’s Power Minister Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari on Monday. During the meeting, both discussed bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.

Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari acknowledged the firm support of brotherly country Saudi Arabia to Pakistan in all difficult situations.

He underlined different investment opportunities, especially in the transmission sector in Pakistan.

Minister Assures Saudi Envoy of Investor-friendly Policies

The minister assured investor-friendly policies under the current government of Pakistan.

Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed A. Al-Malkiy pledged support for Saudi businesses to explore the investment potential in Pakistan.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have a long history of strong bilateral relations rooted in religion. Both Muslim countries supported each other in all testing times and on policies on Kashmir and Palestine conflicts. Islamabad and Riyadh also have strong bonds in the fields of security, economy as well as energy.
