RIYADH: Chief of the General Staff of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Lt. Gen. Fayyadh Bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili and Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Egypt Lt. Gen. Osama Askar on Tuesday discussed the defence and military cooperation during a meeting in Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency, on the occasion, the two sides also discussed strategic and bilateral ties. The two top officials also exchanged views over matters of mutual and common interest during the interaction.

Egypt Armed Forces
Earlier, Chief of the General Staff of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Lt. Gen. Fayyadh Bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili received Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Egypt Lt. Gen. Osama Askar today. It added that an official reception function was also held for the visiting chief of Staff of Egypt. A number of officers of the Saudi and Egyptian armed forces were also present on the occasion.
