Saudi Arabia, Egypt to Improve Security Cooperation, Combat Crimes

RIYADH: Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud, Interior Minister of Saudi Arabia, met with his Egyptian counterpart Mahmoud Tawfiq in Riyadh and discussed ways to improve security cooperation and jointly combat crimes.

Both leaders also jointly supervised the signing of an agreement to combat crime, according to Arab News.

The Egyptian delegation included the head of the National Security Agency, Adel Al-Sayed Abdulaziz Jaafar, and officials from the Interior Ministry.

While the Saudi attendees were Dr. Nasser bin Abdul Aziz Al-Dawood, Deputy Interior Minister Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al-Faleh, Interior Ministry Under Secretary Mohammed bin Muhanna Al-Muhanna, Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Security Affairs and Public Security Director Mohammed Al-Bassami.
