Saudi Arabia Expected to Invest Billions of Dollars in Pakistan: PM Shehbaz

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is likely to invest billions of dollars in Pakistan which would help to promote the economy of the country. 

Chairing a meeting of the federal cabinet here on Wednesday, the Prime Minister apprised the participants about the expected investment in the context of the recent visit by the Saudi delegation.

The Prime Minister also appreciated the efforts of the federal cabinet and other concerned authorities over the successful visit adding that the Saudi delegation was highly impressed by the preparations of Pakistani ministers and relevant authorities. 

PM Lauds Saudi Crown Prince

PM Shehbaz also conveyed special thanks to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for taking special interest in Pakistan for making the visit successful.

“We must ensure the completion of the expected investment for the benefit of the country with the same spirit and dedication,” he said adding that no stone would be left unturned to make the investment a successful move. 

He also reiterated the commitment and advised the cabinet members to show their full sincerity towards the progress and prosperity of Pakistan and fulfil their promises being pledged to the people of the country. 

“If we continue to work hard, we will soon achieve development, prosperity, and economic stability in the country”, the Prime Minister said.
