Saudi Arabia to Organize Global Conference on Universities’ Role to Promote Peaceful Coexistence

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, will organize an international Conference on the role of universities in promoting peaceful coexistence, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.

Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) in Riyadh will host the event on April 28 and 29.

IMSIU President Ahmad Al-Ameri expressed appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his patronage of the global conference.

Al-Ameri went on to say the conference will highlight the universities’ experiences in enhancing lofty values and highlight the significance of the approach of moderation.

Dignitaries, scholars, thinkers, and intellectuals from within and outside Saudi Arabia will attend the conference.

The event will provide specialized religious, scientific, and social expertise through lectures, dialogues, and workshops.
