Saudi Bodybuilding Team Wins 9 Medals at the 2023 World Championship

RIYADH: The Saudi bodybuilding team excelled at the 2023 World Fitness & Bodybuilding Championship in Santa Susanna, Spain, bringing home 9 medals.

This championship featured 1,600 competitors from 103 different countries. The Saudi team, consisting of 12 talented athletes, demonstrated remarkable performances.

The competition commenced with Hattan Bukhari earning a bronze medal and securing the third position in the “Physique” category, while Naif Al-Bashah, his teammate, claimed the sixth spot in the same division.

The following day, Hamdan Al-Ghamdi clinched a gold medal in the “Muscular Physique” category. In the same category, Saad bin Hashim, another member of the Saudi team, proudly achieved fourth place.

The Saudi team continued to shine on the third day of the championship. Ramadan Hawsa secured the gold medal in the “Master” category, while Majed Abu Al-Rahi impressively earned fifth place in the same division.

Additionally, Ali Abu Al-Makarem brought home the bronze medal in the “Bodybuilding 85 kg” category, and Ramadan Hawsa secured a fourth-place finish in this highly competitive category.
