Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Makkah for Ramadan’s Final Days

MAKKAH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Makkah from Jeddah, where he will spend the rest of Ramadan, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). 

The Crown Prince was accompanied by Prince Turki bin Mohammed, Minister of State and Council of Ministers member; Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the foreign minister; Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, the sports minister; and Prince Abdullah bin Bandar, the Minister of the Guard.

On Saturday, Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia and his Bahraini counterpart, Sheikh Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, to the Kingdom.

Prince Salman bin Mohammed warmly greeted his Bahraini counterpart and extended his best wishes for a pleasant stay. The Bahraini crown prince expressed his delight at the visit and conveyed gratitude for the generous hospitality.

The discussions focused on their longstanding bilateral relations, opportunities for cooperation across various domains, and several topics of common interest.

In a separate meeting, the Saudi crown prince welcomed President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to the Kingdom. The president expressed happiness at the visit and appreciation for the warm hospitality.

The two sides reviewed relations, areas of cooperation and means to boost them, in addition to discussing several issues of mutual concern, SPA reported.
