Saudi Defence Minister Inaugurates New Facilities at King Faisal Air Academy

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman, under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, inaugurated the new King Faisal Aviation Academy facility.

The newly unveiled facilities include administrative and residential areas, as well as state-of-the-art education and training facilities, the Saudi Gazette reported on Saturday.

Prince Khalid visited the academy to view its latest training facilities, which are equipped with modern technology.

The tour also included technical and operational facilities, maintenance workshops, aircraft hangars  and living quarters.

During the same event, Prince Khalid attended the graduation ceremony of the academy’s 103rd batch.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Khalid Al Attiyah, the Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs along with a delegation of senior officials from various countries

Notably, the 103rd batch of graduates included graduates from Bahrain and Yemen.
