ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday expressed confidence that the visit of a Saudi delegation led by its Assistant Minister for Investment will have positive outcomes for Pakistan’s future.
The meeting of the federal cabinet was held with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the chair, attended by the ministers. Addressing the cabinet, the premier said that the Saudi delegation was appreciative of the determination and preparation demonstrated by the cabinet members during the investment conference.
Acknowledging the commendable efforts of cabinet members, particularly in commerce, petroleum, and finance, along with secretaries, during the Pakistan-Saudi investment conference, the Prime Minister emphasized his confidence in their continued dedication towards enhancing the nation’s prospects.
PM Shehbaz said that the Saudi business delegation highly appreciated the preparedness and confidence of the federal ministers and other government team members, displayed during its visit, which augured well for the nation’s future.
The prime minister, in the opening remarks at the federal cabinet meeting, informed the members that during the interaction at the dinner reception he had hosted for the Saudi business delegation on Monday, the appreciation by the head of the delegation bought him immense pleasure.
The PM said he would hold a separate meeting with the cabinet members and the government officials who had put in their utmost efforts to ensure the success of the visit of the Saudi delegation.
Saudi Delegation Returns with Satisfaction
He said that the members of the Saudi delegation also acknowledged that they were returning with pleasure and satisfaction and would report to the Saudi leadership that they had witnessed a new era in Pakistan.
The prime minister congratulated the cabinet members and federal secretaries for their hard work, saying that the appreciative words by the visiting delegation, made his evening as well as that of the whole of Pakistan.
