Saudi FM Discusses Relations with Turkish, Russian Counterparts

RIYADH: Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan received phone calls from his Turkish and Russian counterparts and discussed bilateral relations and the regional situation, announced by the Kingdom’s Foreign Ministry.

Turkish foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu held telephonic conversation with his Saudi counterpart and reviewed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them to serve the aspirations of the two countries, the Saudi foreign ministry said in a statement.

Saudi and Turkish FMs discuss regional issues

The foreign ministers also discussed the most critical international and regional issues of common interest and aspects of boosting joint efforts that would enhance global security and peace.

The Saudi foreign minister also received a phone call from his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov. During their conversation, they discussed their bilateral relations and ways to develop them in different fields.

The two foreign ministers also discussed the latest developments amid the Ukraine crisis.

Prince Faisal affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would continue to exert all efforts between all parties and support international efforts to resolve the crisis politically.
