RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, through the Ehsan platform, have donated a total of SR70 million ($18.7 million) to the fourth annual National Campaign for Charitable Work.

The king gave SR40 million while the crown prince SR30 million.

Majid al-Qassabi, head of Ehsan’s monitoring committee, while thanking the King and Crown Prince for the generous donations, said that each donation Ehsan receives is an important source of funding and plays an important role in the Kingdom’s humanitarian success.

The campaign will continue to accept donations during Ramadan, the holy month when Muslims are encouraged to give to charity.
