RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has received a phone call from President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Mirjana Spoljaric, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives Phone Call from ICRC President
According to the SPA, during the call, they discussed the latest developments in Gaza and its surroundings, and developments in the military escalation in the region, where Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah stressed the significance of an immediate truce and stopping the strikes of the Israeli occupation forces on civilian population and hospitals, the most recent of which was their attacking of Al-Shifa Medical Hospital in the Gaza Strip.
The SPA further said that the Foreign Minister stressed the significance to expedite securing humanitarian corridors to provide the necessary relief and medical help, and facilitating the urgent entry of humanitarian assistance convoys into Gaza to ease the suffering experienced by the people there.
