Saudi Minister of Industry Meets with Int’l ‏Companies Officials

DAVOS: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Ibrahim Alkhorayef has met with various presidents and leaders of international industrial companies during his second day in Davos, Switzerland, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

According to the SPA, the Saudi Arabian delegation participated in the annual World Economic Forum (WEF) from January 15 to 19.

Alkhorayef met with the UPL Limited Chairman and Group CEO Jai Shroff, CEPI CEO Dr. Richard Hatchett, Apollo Tyres Ltd. Vice Chairman and Managing Director Neeraj Kanwar, Indorama Ventures Board Chairman Sri Prakash Lohia, and HD Hyundai Vice Chairman Kisun Chung.

The talks aimed to boost cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the companies in the industrial and mining sectors. Alkhorayef emphasized investment opportunities, attracting foreign investment, and increasing non-oil exports to Europe.

Alkhorayef is attending meetings at the WEF to highlight Saudi Arabia’s progress in “Vision 2030” and investment opportunities.
