RIYADH: Saudi Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eng. Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji has met with the European Union (EU) Special Representative for the Horn of Africa, Annette Weber in Riyyadh, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
According to the SPA, El-Khereiji and Weber discussed cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the European Union pertaining to African affairs.

They also exchanged views about several regional and international issues.
Meanwhile, the European Union (EU) official also held a meeting with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Assistant General Supervisor for Operations and Programs, Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, at KSrelief headquarters in Riyadh.

The SPA said that the two sides discussed common humanitarian and relief interests in Africa and explored ways to assist humanitarian efforts in the region.
Weber lauded the professionalism of KSrelief and its humanitarian efforts to help affected countries and people around the world.
