GWADAR: Police said that unknown gunmen killed seven people in Sarbandar area of Gwadar, Balochistan on Thursday. Gwadar SHO Mohsin Ali told the media that unidentified attackers opened gunfire near the Fish Harbour residential quarters, killing 7 people and wounding another.
The police official said that the victims were barbers by profession and worked in a shop in the area. He said that all victims belonged to Khanewal. After the attack, a police party rushed to sport and cordoned off the entire area.
The dead bodies have been transferred to a morgue for autopsy and the wounded to the Gwadar Hospital for medical treatment.
Police said that a case has been registered against the unidentified attackers and investigation is underway to arrest the culprits.
