RIYADH: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has departed for the home after attending the Special meeting of the World Economic Forum, held on April 28-29, local media reported on Tuesday.
Top Saudi government officials, Saudi Ambassador in Pakistan and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and other diplomatic official saw off the PM at the Royal Airport of Riyadh.
Besides addressing the Forum, PM Shehbaz Sharif also held multiple sideline meetings with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, and Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The prime minister’s visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has great significance for boosting economic relations between the two nations.
