ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Sher Afzal Marwat said on Wednesday that the party colleagues Shibli Faraz and Omar Ayub hindered his meeting with the PTI founder Imran Khan in jail.

He alleged that Shibli Faraz and Omar Ayub in cahoots with the jail administration obstructed his meeting with the party’s founder, according to media reports.

Marwat added that the Jail Superintendent told him that Imran Khan wanted to meet him separately.

PTI leader said that when he came for a meeting today, the jail superintendent didn’t allow him to meet Imran Khan. He said that his meeting with the PTI founder was extremely necessary.

Marwat said that he was being paid back for his services to the PTI with the complaint of the party’s social media team against him. Marwat said that Imran Khan had made him the political committee’s member via Barrister Gohar.

He further said that his brother was part of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet, but was suddenly de-notified. Marwat said that if Imran Khan asked him to tender his resignation from the National Assembly, he would comply without any hesitation.

Sher Afzal Marwat Announces Protest

Marwat said that he was announcing a protest that he would not work with them, and would come for protest when Imran Khan will entrust him the responsibility.
