ISLAMABAD: In the upcoming fortnightly review, the Caretaker Government of Pakistan is likely to revise the prices of diesel and petrol, with the announcement of the revised petroleum products prices scheduled for midnight on January 15, 2024.

Some reports suggested a potential reduction in petroleum prices as some media reports are suggesting a decrease in the prices of the petroleum products.

Current petrol rate in Pakistan

The current petrol price in Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Karachi, and Quetta stands at Rs267.34 per litre. As the nation keenly anticipates the official notification of petrol prices at midnight on Monday, there is an expectation that the revisions in both diesel and petrol prices will be closely monitored.
