Ingredients for Chicken Marination:
- 1 kg boneless chicken (cubes)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp mustard paste
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp white pepper powder
- 1 tsp salt
Ingredients for Popcorn Chicken:
- Marinated chicken
- Dry batter
- Chilled water
- Oil
Directions:
- In a bowl combine boneless chicken cubes, garlic powder, mustard paste, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, chilli sauce, salt, and lemon juice and mix it well. Marinate the chicken for thirty minutes and set aside.
- In another bowl, mix flour, white pepper powder, salt and mix it well. Set aside.
- Take a marinated chicken cube and coat it with dry batter, dip it in chilled water and again coat with dry batter.
- Deep fry the coated chicken cubes until crispy and the chicken is fully done.
