Sindh Assembly Unofficial Results: PPP Leads Race

KARACHI: PPP has 65 out of 78 seats in the Sindh Assembly, according to the unofficial and unconfirmed results. Local media cited the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) website as saying PPP won 65, independent candidates won 5, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan 5, Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) 2 and Jamaat-e-Islami won 1 seat.

Shikarpur Provincial Assembly Constituency PS-9

Agha Siraj Durrani of PPP has secured 63760 votes while Rushdullah Shah of Jamiat Ulema Islam-P has collected 25, 634 votes on PS-9.

Larkana Constituency PS-10

From Larkana Constituency PS-10, PPP leader Faryal Talpur took 85, 917 votes, while Jamiat Ulema Islam- P Kifayatullah claimed 18,475 votes.

Sukkur Constituency PS-24

Farrukh Ahmad Shah, son of PPP leader Khursheed Ahmad Shah, was successful in Sukkur Constituency P.A.S-24 with 41 thousand 235 votes, while independent candidate Mubeen Ahmed stood second with 19 thousand 622 votes.

Khairpur Constituency PS-26

PPP Qaim Ali Shah won from PS-26 constituency of Khairpur by getting 63,686 votes.

Shaheed Benazirabad Constituency PS 36

PPP leader Azra Fazal Pechuho won from Shaheed Benazirabad Constituency PS-36 75, 866 votes while independent candidate Mir Bhawal Khan Rind took 16,228 votes.

Hyderabad Constituency PS-61

PPP leader Sharjeel Inam won from PS-61 constituency of Hyderabad by getting 63,79 votes.

Jamshoro Constituency PS-77

Former Sindh Chief Minister and PPP leader Murad Ali Shah won from PS-77 constituency of Jamshoro by getting 76,613 votes while GDA leader Roshan Ali Barro secured 10, 268 votes.
