Solangi, Caretaker CM KP Discusses Elections

ISLAMABAD: Murtaza Solangi, the interim Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, and Parliamentary Affairs, on Monday called the acting Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Justice (Retd) Syed Arshad Hussain Shah, to discuss various significant matters, including the upcoming elections, collaboration within the media sector, and concerns related to journalists.

During their conversation, Murtaza Solangi congratulated Syed Arshad Hussain Shah for assuming the charge of Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The federal minister and the Chief Minister emphasized their commitment to fully supporting the Election Commission, ensuring the electoral process remains fair, impartial, and transparent.

Solangi affirmed the Caretaker Government’s strong belief in the freedom of expression and pledged to offer all necessary assistance to the media throughout the electoral proceedings.

The Caretaker Government is dedicated to fulfilling its constitutional obligations and actively ensuring equal opportunities for all political parties.

Syed Arshad Hussain Shah assured that the concerns and issues facing KPK journalists would be prioritized and resolved promptly. —APP
