KOLKATA, India: South Africa were 44 for 4 before rain halted the game in the 2nd Semi-Final of the ICC World Cup 2023 at Eden Gardens.

Earlier, South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first against Australia. The match commenced with high stakes, setting the stage for a gripping contest between the two cricketing powerhouses.

The opening moments proved challenging for South Africa as they faced early setbacks, losing both Quinton de Kock and Temba Bavuma in the initial stages of their innings.
