ISLAMABAD: Strict restrictions in the name of security measures have been enforced across Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) ahead of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit on March 7.

Authorities have implemented a series of restrictions and tightened surveillance protocols to ensure the smooth conduct of Modi’s visit, according to Kashmir Media Service.

Restricted access zones, especially around the rally venue at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar, have been established. Only authorized personnel are allowed entry into these areas, causing inconvenience to the common people.

Major highways leading to Srinagar are fortified with multiple checkpoints and roadblocks. Indian troops, equipped with advanced scanning tools, are conducting thorough inspections of individuals and vehicles entering the city.

Sensitive locations remain under constant surveillance through electronic monitoring, aerial surveillance using drones, and manned patrols. A big network of CCTV cameras has been strategically installed to closely monitor activities around the venue of the rally.

Public Gatherings, Demonstrations Restricted in Occupied Kashmir

Public gatherings and demonstrations have been strictly banned.

Elite units, including the National Security Guard and the Special Service Group, have been strategically deployed at the rally venue, highlighting the gravity of the security concerns as against the ‘all is well’ mantra paddled by the Indian government.
