Tajikistan President Felicitates Pakistan’s PM Shehbaz on Re-election

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif received a telephone call from the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on Tuesday, congratulating him on his re-election as Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister thanked the Tajik President for his good wishes and felicitations. While fondly recalling President Rahmon’s last trip to Pakistan in 2022, PM Shehbaz also expressed gratitude to the President for extending an invitation to him to visit Tajikistan.

Pakistan-Tajikistan Relations

The two leaders reaffirmed their desire to enhance the existing political, economic, trade, cultural and defence cooperation between the two nations and agreed to remain closely engaged in this regard.

The Tajik President also conveyed his good wishes for three-time Prime Minister and PML-N supremo Muhammad Nawaz Sharif which the PM Shehbaz Sharif acknowledged and promised to convey to him.
