ISLAMABAD: Attaullah Tarar, the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Thursday, stating that individuals involved in last year’s May 9 attacks are now jeopardizing the national interests.
Talking to media, Tarar said that those undermining the nation’s interests were acting against the country. He expressed disappointment at the prioritization of political agendas and egos over national welfare. He has deplored PTI’s practice of giving statements and remarks against national interest.
The Minister said that national interest should be above politics and anyone who speaks against the Pakistan’s interest is an enemy of the country.
The Minister said the government is expanding ties with all friendly nations and they are responding them with the same gesture. Tarar further said that many nations are extending support and showing keen interest for huge investment in Pakistan.
