NEW YORK: New details have emerged about the early stages of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship, shedding light on their secret meetings before going public with their relationship.
According to reports from the Daily Mail, Swift’s interest in Kelce had been brewing long before their relationship became public knowledge in September 2023. The 34-year-old singer was first linked romantically with the NFL player when she attended one of his games to cheer on his team.

Despite their budding relationship, Swift and Kelce maintained a level of privacy surrounding their relationship, with the couple gradually revealing their affection for each other at public events. Whether it was Swift supporting Kelce during his NFL games or Kelce celebrating Swift’s performances on her Eras Tour, the pair openly displayed their admiration for one another.
However, insights into the early days of their relationship have recently surfaced, courtesy of one of Kelce’s team coaches. Speaking on The Sports Shop With Reese and K-Mac podcast, coach Dave Merritt disclosed that Swift initially kept their meetings low-key.
Merritt revealed, “When she started to come around, it was privately.” He added that Swift would attend stadiums without drawing much attention until cameras captured her presence, shining a spotlight on their relationship.
