Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriend, former actress and social activist Somy Ali has said that the eight years she spent with the Bollywood actor were the worst of her entire existence as the actor physically abused her while dating.
Somy Ali has been openly discussing the domestic violence she has endured due to Salman Khan on social media. Although she had previously deleted those posts, she has since explained her decision and stated that “the eight years I spent with him were the worst years of my entire existence.”

In the post, she responded to it by adding, “The hardest eight years of my life were those I spent with him. Along with his numerous relationships and love affairs, he regularly denigrated me by calling me ugly, stupid, and dumb. He would consistently make me feel insignificant.”
“Years went by before he ever acknowledged me as his girlfriend in public, and when he did, he insulted me in front of his friends and never stopped scolding me. I’m not ashamed to admit that because of how he treated me, I decided to have affairs, which are a search for someone who would love and care for me.”
In her post, she explained what happened between her and Salman Khan, accusing Salman of misogynistic behavior and assaulting women. “Someone who would not insult me and genuinely be friendly to me,” she said. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that these men only used me while I was planning a future with each affair. After hitting me, Salman dared to tell me that I was a man and that only men could cheat, not women. That statement horrified me because of the sexism it smacked. Do not forget that just because Salman or anybody else treats you well does not mean they will do the same for others.
