RATOATH: Intense Raffles, skillfully ridden by JJ Slevin, triumphed in the revered Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse Racecourse, Ratoath, Ireland.

Regarded as the pinnacle of National Hunt racing, this event captivated a global audience akin to the “Super Bowl” of horse racing. Slevin’s expertise guided the six-year-old Intense Raffles through the intricate and demanding course with finesse, showcasing remarkable jumping prowess.

Despite a momentary challenge near the finish, Intense Raffles surged to victory, securing the prestigious title under Slevin’s adept handling. This triumph marked trainer Tom Gibney’s second victory in the championship, a testament to the collaboration between horse, rider, and trainer.
