GAZA: Two Israeli soldiers have been killed and another four injured during ground offensive in the Gaza Strip, local media reported on Sunday.
The Israeli military also admitted that its two soldiers were killed and four wounded in the Gaza Strip.
Earlier, the armed wing of Palestinian group Hamas, said that they have killed a “large number” of Israeli troops in the southeast of Gaza.
Local media citied Israeli army as saying that 378 Israeli soldiers were killed in Gaza since October 7. However, there are conflicting news reports on the total number of Israeli forces killed in Gaza since Oct. 27.

Similarly, the death toll in Israeli strikes on Gaza since October 7 has reached 13,000, including more than 5,500 children and 3,500 women, local media reported on Sunday.
According to the government office in Gaza, the number of wounded has exceeded more than 30,000, with over 75% of them being women and children.
The administration stated that the number of missing people crossed 6,000, with most of them suspected of lying under the debris of the destroyed buildings.
It added the number of totally destroyed mosques was around 83, while 166 of them were partially damaged. According to media reports, three churches were also destroyed by the Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip.
Over 43,000 housing units have been totally destroyed, while about 225,000 have been partially damaged. This suggests 60% of the residential houses in Gaza were affected by the strikes, the statement added.
It said that 52 health centers and 25 hospitals have also become out of service since the strikes were launched. Israeli troops also targeted about 55 ambulances, while dozens of ambulances are out of order due to shortage of fuel.
The administration held “Israel and world complete responsible for the current crimes in Gaza.”
It called on the world “to press for an end to this war and these crimes, which shame humanity,” and highlighted the necessity of supply of medical help, fuel and supplies for hospitals.
