UAE Ambassador Commends Pakistan’s Economic Policy Initiatives

ISLAMABAD: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Pakistan, Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi called Pakistan’s Caretaker Federal Minister for Privatization Fawad Hasan Fawad at the Privatization Division in Islamabad on Monday. 

During the meeting, they discussed various issues of mutual interest and cooperation and highlighted the strong and historic ties between the two nations.

The Ambassador Al-Zaabi recalled the recent successful visit to the UAE by Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, characterizing it as outstanding. He conveyed the sincere desire of His Royal Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to extend full support and cooperation to facilitate Pakistan’s development.

UAE Ambassador Pledges Implementation of MOUs

Ambassador Al-Zaabi expressed the UAE government’s commitment to expedite the implementation of recently signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs). This swift action is aimed at helping Pakistan address its economic challenges effectively. He also commended the current government’s policy initiatives for supporting the economy and promoting investment.

In response, the Caretaker Federal Minister for Privatization, Fawad Hasan Fawad, conveyed his gratitude to the Ambassador and the UAE government for their longstanding and continuous support for Pakistan. He highlighted the enduring cordial and brotherly relations between the two nations.

Minister Fawad apprised Ambassador Al-Zaabi of the ongoing privatization process in Pakistan and underscored the investment opportunities that may emerge in the near future. These opportunities, he noted, could yield significant returns on investment.
