UAE Leader Discusses Gaza Crisis with Regional Leaders

ABU DHABI: UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, on Monday, held telephone talks with regional leaders, including Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of Qatar, King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa of Bahrain, and King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan.

According to the Arab media, they discussed pressing regional issues, especially the escalating crisis in the Gaza Strip, and the urgency of achieving a ceasefire and safeguarding civilian lives after international humanitarian laws.

They stressed the imperative of avoiding further regional escalation, they reiterated support for a just, complete, and lasting peace through a two-state solution, crucial for ensuring security and stability across the region.

Moving towards peace initiatives and settling conflicts, coordination among Arab states, and coordinated international efforts were emphasized as critical first steps.
