DUBAI: The Ugandan cricket team has eventually qualified for the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup 2024 for the first time in the cricket history.
As per details, in the T20 World Cup Qualifiers on Thursday, the deciding game was played between Rwanda and Uganda. Uganda qualified for the mega event by defeating Rwanda by nine wickets.

Earlier, the African nation also pulled off major upsets of the tournament by defeating Zimbabwe and Kenya. Uganda became a part of the ICC T20 World Cup for the first time in the cricket history by beating Zimbabwe in the points table.

The teams of Ireland, Namibia, Canada, Scotland, Nepal and Oman have already qualified for the mega event of 2024. The world cup will be hosted by USA and West Indies next year.
