Under-19 Cricket: Pakistan Overpower Bangladesh by 7 Wickets in T20 Fixture

MULTAN: Pakistan Under-19 batters overpowered Bangladesh by 7 wickets in the second T20 fixture of the three-match series at the Multan Cricket Stadium here on Friday. 

The Pakistani Under-19 cricket team batters leveled the series by 1-1.

Pakistan’s captain won the toss and put the visitors into bat first. Bangladesh posted 163 runs total on the scoreboard in the stipulated 20 overs. Jaishan Alam was the top scorer with 73 runs for Bangladesh. Mohammad Rizwan (29), Ahrar Amin (15), and Asiqur Rehman (12) were the other best batters of the innings. Ali Asfand and Mohammad Ibtisam took 3 and 2 wickets respectively for Pakistan.

Green Shirts reached the target of 164 runs after losing only their thrice batter. Skipper Saad Baig played a responsible innings of 79 runs while Arfat Minhas scored 50 not-out runs. Tanveer got 2, and Parvez Jabon 1 for Bangladesh.
