NEW DELHI: In an unexpected turn of events during a medical examination in Kotkapura, India, officials were left astonished as they caught a man attempting to impersonate his girlfriend to take the exam on her behalf. The incident, which occurred during a multi-purpose health workers exam conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences at Kotkapura’s DAV Public School, has now become a viral sensation.

According to a report by India’s NDTV, Angrez Singh arrived at the examination center dressed as his girlfriend, Paramjit Kaur, in a ladies’ suit adorned with a bindi, lipstick, and red bangles. To further the disguise, he utilized fake voter and identification documents to appear in the exam on behalf of Paramjit.

Indian Man’s Exam Fraud Unveiled

The comedy act took an unexpected twist when Singh’s attempt to pull off the impersonation was foiled during the verification process. Officials discovered that his fingerprints did not match those of Paramjit Kaur, leading to his apprehension by the authorities.

The university officials swiftly caught wind of the charade and took immediate action by filing a complaint with the police against Angrez Singh. The incident, which started as an unconventional attempt at exam fraud, has now become the talk of the town in Kotkapura.

The report quoted the police stating that the man’s audacious impersonation was swiftly uncovered, prompting a complaint to be filed against him. Additionally, Paramjit Kaur’s application was rejected following the revelation of the attempted deception.
