WhatsApp, Instagram Resumed After Brief Disruption

CALIFORNIA, United States:  Meta-owned social media platforms WhatsApp and Instagram have been restored after being down on Wednesday worldwide.

Thousands of users across the world found difficulty to access WhatsApp on the app or on the web as well as Instagram.

WhatsApp in a statement on X, said some people are having issues right now, but the company is working on getting things back to normal completely for everyone as quickly as possible.

Outage tracking website Downdetector.com confirmed that more than 17,000 users reported issues with the messaging platform.

Meanwhile, more than 67,000 users in the UK, over 30,000 in India and 95,000 in Brazil reported problems with the platform.
