The upcoming feature will enable users to create and share polls within channels, enhancing user interaction and engagement within the app. Although the feature is currently under development and not yet available for beta testers, it is expected to be incorporated into a future update of the app.

WhatsApp Poll Feature to Allow Users Gather Feedback

The poll feature in channels will allow users to gather feedback from their followers effectively. Channel owners can create polls to collect valuable insights from their audience, fostering a sense of community and connection among followers. Importantly, the polls will offer an option to restrict responses to a single choice, mirroring the functionality already present in chats and groups.

In addition to enhancing user engagement, WhatsApp ensures the privacy of poll participants. Votes cast in the polls will remain protected, with participants’ phone numbers kept confidential and hidden from the channel owner and other followers, ensuring a secure and anonymous polling experience.
