CALIFORNIA: WhatsApp, owned by Meta has said that the social media app is currently in the process of testing a new feature that allows users to log into their computers utilizing an email address.

This new functionality allows users to associate their email addresses with the WhatsApp app on both Android and iOS devices. It is significant to note that the current method of logging into the platform will continue to work as usual.

Currently, WhatsApp users can make their access to their accounts by using a one-time passcode sent to their phones.

Moreover, users are also reassured that their email addresses will continue private and will not be visible to other users of the platform.
