ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Culture and National Heritage Syed Jamal Shah has said that when in 1980, he was offered several roles abroad including from BBC and Hollywood, and after people were started calling him the next Umer Sharif (legendary Egyptian Actor) he refused these roles due to several reasons.
One important reason was he had roots in Quetta, therefore it didn’t want to scandalize his family to work such bold scenes. Another reason was he wanted to serve his people and serve the country, which he did in a better way while being here in Pakistan. Here is what he said in the video clip while talking to WENews.
