Young Pakistani Doctor Clinches Outstanding Diplomacy Award at Global Conference

PESHAWAR: Peshawar Medical College’s Dr. Hamza Khan, a lecturer in Community Health Sciences at Peshawar Medical College, scored second position out of 200 delegates and won the Outstanding Diplomacy Award for his virtual representation.

Organized by a US-based organization and NGO, Best Diplomats, the event gathered over 200 delegates representing 60 different nationalities. Dr. Khan’s remarkable performance positioned him in second place among the participants, showcasing his exceptional diplomatic skills.

According to APP, the conference was held from January 25 to 29, served as a platform for top diplomats and experts worldwide to engage in discussions and debates on various topics.

Dr. Khan’s participation was sponsored from the World Health Organization, which recognized his potential as a promising youth delegate. His extensive experience includes participation in previous Best Diplomat Conferences held in Dubai, Egypt, Turkey, and Thailand, as well as engagement in numerous online Model United Nations (MUN) simulations.

This recent accolade adds to Dr. Khan’s already impressive track record, as he previously secured the prestigious Best Diplomat Award at the Best Diplomat Conference in June 2023, held in Dubai. —APP
