MULTAN: District administration has launched a comprehensive crackdown against the dengue as 200 cases have been lodged by health department under the Dengue Act.
Dr. Atta-ul-Rehman, the focal person for the dengue campaign led the crackdown. Following the raid, dengue larvae were discovered at more than 50 commercial places, which were also sealed. The district departments carried out special checking and teams have also been formed under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Umar Jehangir.
In a statement, Umar Jahangir said that 26 persons were arrested after finding dengue larvae in 421 locations, while 986 cases were reported under the Dengue Act this month.
