RAWALPINDI: Six more people tested positive for Coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the district to 47,805, officials said on Wednesday.

According to the report, 20 confirmed patients are currently quarantined at their homes. Health officials said that 7,006,011 people, including 44,790 health workers, had been immunized against the deadly virus across the district as per the report. During the last 24 hours, 317 samples were collected, 311 of which were declared negative, with a positivity rate of 1.89 percent in Rawalpindi.
According to the official social media account of NIH, 4986 tests of Covid-19 were conducted during the last 24 hours countrywide.
